Gaynor Smith

Gaynor Smith has always loved books, even when she was a little girl reading by torchlight after lights out. Now holding them in her hands she appreciates the beauty that a well formatted book brings to a story, she slipped a little further down the slope of adoration as she consumed the story on the pages. For two years, she's been an administrator and active community member for SASS (Struggling Author Street-team Services) where she's helped guide countless Indies through the shark-infested waters of the publishing world. Wanting to do more with the book world in the way of book design and formatting, she was mentored by Jo Michaels, learning the fine art of print and ebook formatting. One thing Gaynor promises her clients is a gorgeous final product, that's guaranteed to be error free, and accepted with the printer of the author's choice on the first upload.

Gaynor resides in the UK, so please be mindful of the time difference when waiting on contact after an inquiry.

Praise from clients:

I had the honor of working with Gaynor on my newest book, Exiled, and she is amazing! My interior looks gorgeous. Gaynor is so patient with any questions and even picked out some wonderful images. And when I found a typo at the last minute, she sent me a revised copy right away even though it was my mistake. You can’t go wrong working with Gaynor!

Working with Gaynor was an absolute pleasure. Not only was she kind, and easy to work with, but she was extremely knowledgeable, and as a new Indie author that was truly appreciated. During my time working with her, I had not only personal challenges, but writing one's as well. She was flexible and understanding, and very accommodating. The final formatted product of my book was nothing short of a masterpiece. She helped me pick font, pictures and other artwork to make my book unique and reflect my personality as an author. I am truly pleased with her formatting, and I can't wait to work with her again on my second book. Thanks so much IBGW.
